Contractor review

Evidence relevant
to the work.

A company application starts a review. It does not automatically make the company eligible for introductions.

What we review

  • Business identity and contact details, with Companies House information where applicable.
  • Insurance evidence and expiry dates relevant to the proposed work.
  • Certification or accreditation evidence, the provider and exact scope, where required for the category.
  • Comparable work, references and the source and date of the review.
  • Coverage, project size, sectors and current capacity.

Approval is specific to the category

Evidence for one activity does not establish suitability for every passive-fire service. Unconfirmed information is held for verification. Only approved network contractors with current required evidence are considered for introductions.

Checks continue at introduction

Eligibility is checked again before an introduction is authorised. Missing or expired required evidence blocks the introduction; other matching criteria cannot override this requirement.

Your particular project still matters

Our review supports the introduction process. It is not certification of the contractor or the building. The appointed professionals must establish the technical scope and project-specific suitability. Agree the specification, contract, evidence and handover requirements before work starts.
