Privacy choices

Cookies and website measurement.

Updated 20 September 2026

Current setup

Google Analytics 4 is available on public pages and loads only after you accept analytics. Google Ads tracking and session recording, including Microsoft Clarity, are not enabled.

Essential technologies

Cloudflare provides security for the website. We observed its __cf_bm cookie on the public homepage: it helps distinguish automated traffic and expires after approximately 30 minutes of inactivity. Essential hosting and owner authentication operate independently of optional analytics consent.

Owner sign-in is managed by the hosting platform. This is a separate authentication flow; rejecting optional analytics does not prevent a visitor submitting a project or callback request.

Remembering your choice

When you make a choice, we store pfl_cookie_preferences_v1 in this browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. It records the preference version, expiry and your analytics choice. It is used to respect your settings, not to identify you for advertising. A different browser or device has its own choice.

Optional analytics

If you consent, Google Analytics measures public page visits, referring website origins, form starts, progression through enquiry steps, successful report uploads, enquiry submissions and callback requests. We exclude contact fields, uploaded contents, filenames and enquiry references. Query strings and URL fragments are excluded from page addresses. Google may process connection information such as your IP address when its service is contacted.

Google’s analytics cookies are named _ga and _ga_…. These optional cookies are used only after analytics consent. Our integration sets a 180-day expiry without automatic renewal. They distinguish browsers and maintain session information. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in this integration.

Measurements cover visitors who consent and whose browsers allow analytics. Form abandonment is an estimate based on starts versus completed submissions; it cannot identify every visitor who leaves. Uploaded reports remain part of your project record, separate from analytics.

Change your mind

Select Cookie settings at any time to accept or reject optional analytics. Rejection stops our Google tag from loading, removes its accessible first-party analytics cookies and leaves the enquiry service available. Google Ads or session recording would require a further setup and an updated explanation before activation.

Email signup links

The email briefing page uses an ordinary link to a separately hosted signup form when subscriptions are open. No mailing-list form, script or tracking pixel is embedded on this website. Opening that external form takes you to the provider’s website and its own privacy information.

Further information

See Privacy Information for the business contact, your rights and how project records are handled. Google explains its processing in its privacy policy and analytics cookie guidance. Google describes international processing in its transfer information. GA4 user and event data retention is set to 14 months, with reset on new activity disabled. Standard aggregated reports are not governed by that setting.
